Destination wedding in Ravello
Destination Wedding in Ravello
A. and L. are a wonderful couple living in Dallas. Bored with US indoor wedding in hotel, they wanted something different, they dreamt of an amazing scenario. Getting married in Italy sounded daunting, but as L.’s cousin got married 3 years ago in Tuscany, they found from her stories the courage to take this risk and made a decision. The couple wanted a chic wedding with white flowers and an amazing view. This is why they chose VILLA EVA in Ravello. They had around 40 guests arriving from US to attend this romantic destination wedding in Ravello.
We planned rehearsal dinner in the amazing restaurant called Sensi, in Amalfi, where the food was delicious and very well presented and they had a nice and relaxed dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea.
Guests stayed in different hotels in Ravello. The medieval hillside town of Ravello is a very small village with no car access so everything can be reached by foot.
On the wedding day all the guests walked together to the Villa.
Bride and Groom got ready in Hotel Caruso, and reached the Villa walking together after their first look that took place in the charming streets of Ravello.
Ceremony was held in the breathtaking terrace of Villa Eva overlooking the sea and the Amalfi coastline. The music during the Ceremony was played by a Napoleatan moving quintet, that entertained the guests during the aperitif time as well.
After the aperitif guests took a seat in two long tables under the marquee, that was completely open, on the sides and on the roof top too.
This destination wedding in Ravello ended like it always should with a dj set and open bar in the hall of the Villa that lasted until 2 am.
