The most romantic Tuscan Wedding
What happens when the sweetness of a Singaporean lady meets the charm of a German gentleman? A fairytale abroad, a Tuscan Wedding overlooking rolling hills, with the most peaceful atmosphere, in the place they chose to be their Tuscan home, where it was love at first sight.
Back in winter when they first visited the venue with us they said: please take a picture of us together here, this is our place. And so it was. It was their place. And 11 months later it was real their destination wedding in Tuscany!
What they had in mind was a familiar and informal party, where they where the host to let all the guests have the best time.In every room, guests found a welcome package including an olive oil soap bar, wine and typical Tuscan cantuccini (almond cookies). The welcome party was in a wine estate, for a fun relaxed wine tasting night.
The next day the sky was filled with clouds, pouring rain, but smile never left their faces. They were ready and they knew that rain cannot ruin what love puts together. More else they know that in Italy we say: wet bride lucky bride. She was lucky, it was wet but not that much. While the bride was getting ready surrounded by ladies in a superb suite, the groom was having fun with his boys.
At their arrival, guests found sun umbrellas and soft pashminas as a gift from the couple. When the ceremony started the sky was still cloudy, and no song could have been better than the song Vivienne walked down to: Here comes the sun by the Beatles. Sweet and light as a feather she walked down to the arch, where Max was standing, waiting for her.It was such an emotional ceremony, it was impossible to hold back the tears, and the final kiss was like a movie kiss, full of love, in front of the best background you could even imagine, in the same place we took their very first picture there. Shivers everywhere.
Of course, the plan B was ready, but the sky was gentle so we could have almost everything outside, apart from the dinner which we chose to set up inside, in the stone granary. While the guest had their prosecco and all kinds of delicious Tuscan food, an Italian folk trio, typical but young and fresh, played live music no stop.
The atmosphere was chill and easygoing, and as the sun set all the guests could enjoy and take pictures, and polaroids for the guestbook, all over the hills. An amazing big vintage mirror, reflecting all the beauty of the landscape was the tableau where guests could find their seats and very few of them could resist and not taking a selfie to the reflection.
The entrance to the dinner was just amazing. The room was filled with candle lights and the coziness of a warm Tuscan stone granary, with white lace, olive leaves and white flowers running all along the tables. The bridal party entered the room introduced by the master of ceremony, dancing and having fun between the tables before the bride & groom. Food was delicious, as in Tuscan tradition teaches, you can never go wrong with ravioli and Tuscan meat.
At the end of the dinner, when guests came back outside for the cake cut the sky was filled with stars, that in the darkness of nature become incredibly beaming. A whole dessert buffet was set up, with the biggest cake ever. So surrounded by love, sparkles, and happiness the couple could cut their first (huge) cake, that was also the sweetest thing after the newlyweds.
Right after that, it was time to toss the bouquet and the garter. While guests were enjoying the spectacle and the sweetness the party was good to go, and when the guests arrived on the dance floor they found a full open bar waiting for them, disco lights and dance music all over the place, and from all over the time.
The bride changed her dress and wore a sparkling gown, to get wild on the dancefloor with her just married husband. The party ended very late, or early in the morning, as usual. Nobody wanted to leave this incredible Tuscan Wedding.
